A SWORD dubbed Excalibur, after the legendary sword of King Arthur, has mysteriously been pulled from a lakeside stone in the Brecon Beacons, one of the places mooted for Camelot.

The sword was fixed into a stone with cement near Llangorse Lake, in the Brecon Beacons. It was made by a local blacksmiths and the attraction was popular with children and tourists. Its disappearance is a real mystery, or perhaps not!
